Once we’ve fabricated your home package it’s time to ship. Your project could be anywhere from a few blocks away, to across a border or ocean, to a Gulf Island with no roads; at AJIA, we are remote-site specialists!
If Ajia is not the designated building contractor, we will coordinate with you and your contractor to sequence the delivery to suit your needs. Whether you need the Ajia Home Package all at once, or each section just in time, our logistics can manage your space, your schedule, and your budget.
Mostly by truck, but some of our more exciting and challenging deliveries have used a barge or on several very memorable builds, a helicopter – yes indeed, that was the most economical solution!
Working together, we design a transportation plan that considers a variety of issues: the distance to the site, the site’s accessibility, lay down area, off-loading crew and equipment requirements The goal is to keep the transportation costs low and minimize any disruptions to the installation process. Each section is delivered in weather resistant packaging to protect it until it’s installed.
We work hard to arrange our load plans so that the material that will be needed first doesn’t end up stuck at the bottom of the pile when it’s off-loaded at site.
