Nestled into a rugged waterfront topography, this coastal residential retreat is designed to dissolve the boundary between refined interior living and its raw Pacific Northwest context. The building's massing mirrors the natural slope of the shoreline, anchored by a structural stone retaining wall that elevates an expansive wrap-around stone patio. Large-format, high-performance glazing and an arched clerestory window puncture the main gable façade, capturing panoramic ocean views while framing the distinct forms of native arbutus trees. A minimalist glass railing wraps the terrace perimeter, ensuring unobstructed visual continuity from the interior living zones directly out to the coastal horizon.
